Philippines in 18 Days: The Most Beautiful and Diverse Country in Southeast Asia

We share our amazing 18-day trip to the Philippines, where we visited some of the most beautiful and diverse places in the country. We started our journey to Manila, the capital city, where we flew to Coron, a paradise for island hopping, diving, and snorkeling. We saw stunning lagoons, coral gardens, shipwrecks, and marine life. From Coron, we took a ferry to El Nido, another coastal town in Palawan. El Nido is famous for its Bacuit Archipelago, which consists of 45 islands and islets with limestone cliffs, white sand beaches, and turquoise waters. We joined several tours to see the highlights of El Nido, such as the Big Lagoon, the Small Lagoon, 7 Commando Beach and more. We also did the Canopy walk. We then traveled by to Puerto Princesa, the capital city of Palawan. Puerto Princesa is home to the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. It is a spectacular cave system that features an 8.2-kilometer-long river that flows directly into the sea. We enjoyed the local cuisine ad nightlife in Puerto Princesa.

From Puerto Princesa, we flew to Cebu, the largest island in the Visayas region. Cebu has a rich history, culture, and natural beauty. We also tried the famous lechon, or roasted pig, and other delicacies. From Cebu, we drove to Moalboal, a small coastal town famous for its sardine run diving experience. We snorkeled with millions of sardines, sea turtles and enjoyed the lively and laid-back atmosphere of Moalboal, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops.

From Moalboal, we took a ferry from Oslob to Panglao, a municipality and an island in Bohol. Panglao is famous for its beautiful beaches, especially Alona Beach and Dumaluan Beach. We swam with whale sharks and also joined a Bohol countryside tour, where we saw the Chocolate Hills, the Tarsier Sanctuary, the Loboc River, the Blood Compact Shrine, and the Baclayon Church. From Panglao, we flew back to Manila. We had an incredible time in the Philippines, and we hope you enjoy watching our video. Please like, comment, and subscribe for more travel videos.
