Mexican Adventure -

Cancun - Isla Mujeres - Merida - Kabah / Uxmal - Tulum - Tulum ruins / Gran Cenote - Playa Del Carmen - Hubiku Cenote - Chichen Izta

Mexico has been a long-held desire and yes, it has lived up to expectations. Despite the fact that there was a bit of trepidation, perhaps a bad feeling due to terrible security warnings, actual murders before our arrival, not least while we were there, we never once felt threatened. In fact, it is drug-related and so far tourists have not been victims or involved. We felt safe, even when we were walking in the streets in the evening, but it is true that we did not walk on the sidewalks in the middle of the night :) , which, however, applies not only to Mexico, but everywhere.

In short, when you get used to telling everyone from the stalls, taxi drivers and anyone else that we don’t need anything and you communicate with the locals, you find that people are friendly, open, communicative. Otherwise, everything was without problems, it was agreed, every trip was great, exactly everything, in short, it fits and basically it is easy to travel around Mexico. We saw a lot and the food is fantastic. Cheese, tortillas, beer, alcohol in short ... yes, here they know how good it is and drink :)

Due to time constraints, we weren’t able to see things we might ever go to Mexico to see again. According to the story of every local, it is obligatory to go to the island of Holbox, supposedly a paradise on earth, so this is obviously waiting for us, then Bacalar, a lake that has seven shades of blue also a paradise, here also Palenque, San Cristobal, Ik Kil Cenote (which, however, is probably commercialized), like many other things.

We traveled alone, with our own plan, arranged everything sooner or on time. So Mexico will remain in our fond memories, we saw a lot, we ate extremely well, we never had digestive problems, in short, everything was "tuned". When we rest, as we have walked between 6 to 10 and more km a day, we will relive a little more colorful Mexico through photos and video. Then it will be time for new travel plans :)

Costa Rica, the Philippines, Sri Lanka or Vietnam? :)

Adios Mexico. Thanks Mexico. Have fun ...
