Corfu 2017

Greece, Corfu ... an island that I somehow avoided as it wasn’t “special” enough to me, turned out to be a pleasant surprise. For such a form of vacation, as we set out this time, it is quite a nice destination. The Greeks are friendly, the prices are normal, not excessive, the food is good, everything is easy. However, one can feel the huge influence of Italy, because in addition to the classic Greek food, there is pizza and pasta everywhere, which doesn't really surprise me, nor convinces me. Crete is much more "Greek" in this regard. Corfu is an extremely green island, the beaches are mostly just tourist and you can't find many pearls like these in Crete and other islands in Greece. It is a small island, we were stationed somewhere in the middle so that we had a maximum one hour drive in one direction for the north or south of the island. We have processed practically everything, Sidari with the beach Canal d'amour, Kavos, Kassiopi are small towns worth mentioning, also the city of Corfu is beautiful, picturesque, but for example Chania in Crete is my personal favorite if we compare within Greece. In summary, the bill is fine, Greece in general is becoming an increasingly affordable destination and that’s great. Eupharisto Corfu, and in Greece we still have many other islands still waiting to be explored.
