One last time with California: Skipper Training on the Elan 45 ⛵ Kaštela – Vis – Stari Grad – Milna
After nine unforgettable years at the helm, the time came for one last, very special voyage. We bid farewell to our trusted California (Elan 45) the only way that felt right—an intensive skipper training session packed with sea trials, hands-on drills, and genuine respect for the elements.
Setting off from our home marina in Kaštela, we headed straight out to Vis. The true test of boat and crew took place on the open waters south of Vis, where rolling seas and challenging winds delivered top-tier training conditions. From there, we routed north to Hvar to moor in historic Stari Grad, before pushing onward to the classic sailors' haven of Milna on Brač.
After countless maneuvers, exercises, and demanding nautical miles, we returned to our home port in Kaštela for one final mooring. Thank you, California, for nine remarkable years of safe passages, steady winds, and memories that will last a lifetime. You’ve been an incredible yacht! 🌊⚓
