The Azores is a true gem, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty, adventure, and relaxation. The best time to visit the Azores is between April and September, when you'll enjoy the fairest weather and calmer seas. To make the most of your trip, here are some tips and tricks:

Planning and Preparation

Pack for all seasons: The Azores weather can be unpredictable, so pack layers. Warm clothing, rain gear, and swimwear are essential.

Book accommodations in advance: Especially during peak season, securing your accommodation is crucial.

Fly between the island, to save time. https://www.azoresairlines.pt/en (only use ferry between Pico and Faial island) - https://www.atlanticoline.pt/en/

Rent a car: Having a car provides flexibility to explore the islands at your own pace.

But you don't have to rent a car on every island, as it could get really expensive. You can try local providers of tours and transfers. On Terceira island, we were riding with Paul :) - https://www.paulstaxi.pt/ (he even have a vape store if you are into vaping:)

or another alternative (in Terceira)

Research local cuisine everywhere: The Azores boasts delicious seafood and local delicacies. Be sure to try them!

Learn some Portuguese: While English is widely spoken in tourist areas, knowing a few basic Portuguese phrases will enhance your experience. If you have a car, many of sights are available to you and you can freely explore it without paying for tours.
